JISI FISIP UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta Achieves SINTA 3 Ranking
The Indonesian Journal of Social Sciences (JISI) has successfully attained SINTA 3 Accreditation, effective from Volume 2, Issue 1, 2021, through Volume 6, Issue 2, 2025.
This decision is based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology No. 72/E/KPT/2024, issued on April 1, 2024, concerning the Accreditation Ranking of Scientific Journals for the First Period of 2024.
This ranking indicates that the Indonesian Journal of Social Sciences has scored between 60 and 70 in the SINTA evaluation conducted by the Sinta Kemendikbud team. This ranking will remain valid until 2025.
The Indonesian Journal of Social Sciences, also known as JISI, is published by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at UIN Jakarta. The journal covers various fields, including but not limited to politics, sociology, anthropology, international relations, public administration, culture, and gender.
Burhanuddin Muhtadi, who is also the Executive Director of Indikator Politik Indonesia, serves as the Editor-in-Chief of this journal. JISI has established collaborations with several organizations, including the Indonesian Association for International Relations Studies (AIHII), the Association of Political Science Study Programs of Indonesia (Apsipol), the Indonesian Public Opinion Survey Association (Persepi), and the Indonesian Association of Government Sciences (MIPI).
It is known that SINTA Journal Accreditation is a program developed by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristek Dikti) to measure the quality and reputation of scientific journals in Indonesia. SINTA stands for Science and Technology Index.
SINTA Journal Accreditation has six ranks, from rank 1 with the highest evaluation score to rank 6. These rankings are valid for four years and can change based on the quality of each journal at the time of evaluation.
