The 132nd Graduation Ceremony: FISIP UIN Jakarta Graduates 56 Students

The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at UIN Jakarta has officially released 56 new graduates who will be formally conferred their degrees this weekend. The new graduates, consisting of 17 candidates from the Sociology program, 10 candidates from the Political Science program, and 29 candidates from the International Relations program, were recognized at the FISIP graduation yudisium ceremony held at the Bahtiar Effendy Auditorium, FISIP UIN Jakarta, on Friday, June 7, 2024.

Attending ceremony were the Dean of FISIP UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Dzuriyatun Toyibah, M.Si., M.A., the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Iding Rosyidin, M.Si., the heads of departments, and the head of general affairs at FISIP UIN Jakarta.

During the same occasion, several outstanding graduates were announced by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. Iding Rosyidin, M.Si., who presented the names of those with the highest Cumulative Grade Point Averages (CGPA). The top graduate from the Political Science program, who is also the best graduate of FISIP, was Lilis Ratnasari with a CGPA of 3.98, awarded cum laude. The best graduate from the Sociology program was Lydza Amanta Billah with a CGPA of 3.87, and the top graduate from the International Relations program was Raisya Bintang Sulaiman Putri with a CGPA of 3.89.

Representing the outstanding graduates, Lilis Ratnasari expressed gratitude to her parents and the entire academic community of FISIP UIN Jakarta for their unwavering support from the beginning of her studies until she successfully obtained her degree. "Pray for us so that our journey ahead will be smooth," she said.

In her speech, the Dean of FISIP UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Dzuriyatun Toyibah, M.Si., M.A., congratulated the prospective graduates. "After facing various challenges and exams, you have successfully completed this level of education. Therefore, let us celebrate your achievement," she said.

She also expressed her hope that FISIP UIN Jakarta graduates would become active members of society and pursue careers in their respective fields. "We are very proud if FISIP alumni can excel in their careers. Additionally, always maintain your connections and uphold the good name of FISIP UIN Jakarta," the Dean added.

On the same occasion, the Dean also announced that FISIP UIN Jakarta has recently opened two new study programs: the Master of Sociology and the Master of Political Science programs. "If you are interested in continuing your education to a higher level, please apply for the master's programs now available at FISIP UIN Jakarta," she concluded.
