FISIP Online,  Faculty of Social and Political Sciences is holding a general studium which will be held on Wednesday, 22 September 2021 at 09.00 – 11.00 WIB. This event uses the Zoom application to meet face to face online. This is because it is to prevent the spread of the corona virus. The theme of this event is "Sociology For Good Society".

This time the General Studium invited speakers, namely, Novri Susan, S.Sos., MA., Ph.D (Lecturer in Sociology, Airlangga University), moderated by Dr. Iim Halimatusa'diyah, MA. (Lecturer in Sociology, FISIP UIN Jakarta) apart from that, a welcome and introduction to the general studium from the Dean of FISIP UIN Jakarta, namely Prof. Dr. Ali Munhanif, MA. In his speech he said that students could understand strategies for solving social problems in society and government policies.

The event continued with a presentation by Novri who said that every social problem takes the form of actors' actions in many special arenas such as politics, economics, industry, law, environment and others. "The process of finding the reason a social phenomenon appears using certain methods (qualitative/quantitative) and analyzed by a theoretical approach," said Novri.

After the resource person gave his presentation, a question and answer session was opened for the resource person by students. Students were very active in asking questions to resource persons and were enthusiastic from the start of participating in this general studium.
