Studium Generale: Quality of Development and Social Resilience
FISIP Online, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is holding a Studium Generale which will be held on Friday, 14 October 2022 at 09.00 – 12.00 WIB. This event took place in the Prof. Auditorium. Bahtiar Effendy FISIP UIN Jakarta and also broadcast via Zoom and YouTube. The theme of this event is "Quality Development and Social Resilience ".
This time Studium generale invited speakers, namely, Dr. Arie Sujito, S. Sos., M.Si (Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs, Community Service and Alumni, Gadjah Mada University), apart from that, a welcome and introduction to the studium generale from the Dean of FISIP UIN Jakarta, namely Prof. Dr. Ali Munhanif, MA. The event was moderated by Dr. Iim Halimatusa'diyah, MA. (Lecturer at FISIP UIN Jakarta) with his characteristically enthusiastic demeanor.
The Dean of FISIP gave a speech at this studium generale event by giving hope that this event could open students' insights in the context of the quality of development and social resilience in Indonesia and become more productive in exploring positive information. He also tells a picture of the sociology of Indonesian society today.
Then the event continued with a presentation by the speaker, namely Dr. Arie Sujito, S. Sos., M.Si by telling a little about how Indonesian society responded to the COVID-19 pandemic. "The ability of society to endure, survive , in overcoming threats is part of a form of resilience and resilience in some cases driven by the working of social capital to a certain degree, reflected in an attitude of social solidarity and mutual cooperation in reducing shared burdens," said Arie. Still in its continuation, civic transformation is certainly not built solely by focusing on community social participation, but is also accompanied by the relevance of the state's role in building responsibility with a strong degree of legitimacy.
After the resource person gave his presentation, a question and answer session was opened for the resource person by students. Students were very active in asking questions to resource persons and were enthusiastic from the start of participating in this general studium. The event closed by giving souvenirs to the speakers.
