FISIP Online,  Faculty of Social and Political Sciences UIN Syarif Hidayatullah is holding soft skills training for students which will be held on Tuesday, February 22 2022 at 13.00-15.00 WIB. This event uses the Zoom application to meet face to face online. This is because it is to prevent the spread of the corona virus. The theme of this event is " Academic Writing" .

This workshop event invited speakers, namely Dr. Dani Muhtada, M.Ag,. MPA (Semarang State University). A glance at Dr. Dani Muhtada, M.Ag., MPA, Civil Servant Lecturer at Semarang State University and graduate of PhD in Political Science, Northern Illinois University USA and Mitra Besari. The event was moderated by Tania Syuflana (FISIP student) and remarks from the deputy dean for student affairs, Dr. Agus Nilmada Azmi, M.Si hopes that this event can improve the quality and foster enthusiasm for writing among students.

Dani explained the anatomy of a scientific article and the steps to create a good and correct scientific article. "An introduction can create a systematic way of writing an article, so that readers understand the organization of the writing and, especially, your line of thinking," said Dani. Apart from that, he also explained how to avoid plagiarism to students.

After participating in this soft skills activity, students are expected to be able to increase their knowledge of how to write good and correct scientific articles or theses by avoiding plagiarism. Before the event closed, a question and answer session was opened for students with resource persons.
