FISIP Online. On Thursday, 20 October 2022, FISIP UIN Jakarta held a public lecture held at 13.30 WIB – 16.30 WIB at the FISIP Aulamadya offline and online using Zoom. The theme of the public lecture is Writing a Thesis Proposal in International Relations Studies . This activity is a routine agenda carried out by the faculty to hold public lectures by inviting external speakers.

This public lecture invited speakers namely Dr. Ririn Tri Nurhayati (Lecturer at FISIPOL Gadjah Mada University). This event was opened by remarks from the Head of the HI FISIP UIN Jakarta Study Program who was also the moderator at this event, namely Dr. Faisal Nurdin Idris, M.Sc. This event received enthusiasm from the students who came to take part in this public lecture event.

"We hold events like this to open students' insights and information to a wider and deeper level regarding the study of International Relations," said Faisal. After giving a speech, the event continued with a presentation by the resource person, namely Dr. Ririn Tri Nurhayati.

"A good conceptual/theoretical framework is one that can guide researchers to answer research questions systematically," said Ririn. In continuation, the description of research methods helps researchers to search, analyze and report data systematically.

Before the end of the event, a question and answer session was opened by students for the resource persons. It was seen that students were enthusiastic in asking questions to the resource person to gain information about writing a thesis proposal.
