FISIP Online,  Faculty of Social and Political Sciences is holding a general studium which will be held on Monday, 27 September 2021 at 08.00 – 10.00 WIB. This event uses the Zoom application to meet face to face online. This is because it is to prevent the spread of the corona virus. The theme of this event is "Sociology of Archives and Power".

Studium general this time invited speakers, namely, Harry Bawono, M.Si (National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia), moderated by Fathun Karib, M.Si. (Lecturer in Sociology, FISIP, UIN Jakarta). At a glance, Harry's profile is that he graduated from a Master's Degree in Sociology at the University of Indonesia in 2015. He works at the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia in the work unit of the Center for the Study and Development of Archival Systems.

The event continued with a presentation by Harry who said that archeval science is a science that studies the mechanisms of information that is stored, processed and destroyed by the context of a particular society/group. "Quoting from Cunningham's (2016) statement, archives are the accumulation and distribution of community knowledge and a scientific discipline," said Harry.

After the resource person gave his presentation, a question and answer session was opened for the resource person by students. Students were very active in asking questions to the speakers and were enthusiastic from the start following this guest lecture.
