FISIP UIN Jakarta Visits UNAIR, UNIBRAW, and UMM
FISIP Online , from Wednesday 26 October to 28 October 2022, FISIP UIN Jakarta visited three universities in Surabaya and Malang, namely Airlangga University, Brawijaya University, Muhammadiyah University Malang. The team that carried out this visit consisted of Prof. Dr. Ali Munhanif, MA (Dean), Dr. A. Bakir Ihsan, M.Si (Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs), Dr. Dzuriyatun Toyibah, M.Si (Deputy Dean for General Administration), Dr. AGus Nilmada Azmy, M.Si (Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Cooperation and Alumni), Dr. Faisal Nurdin, M.Sc (Head of HI Study Program), Dr. Rahmi Fitriyanti, M.Si (Sekprodi HI), Dr. Cucu Nurhayati, M.Si (Head of Sociology Study Program), Dr. Joharotul Jamilah, M.Si (Secretary of Sociology Study Program), Dr. Iding Rosyidin, M.Si (Head of Political Science Study Program), Dr. Suryani, M.Si (Political Science Study Program Secretary), Bambang Ruswandi, M.Stat (Head of Laboratory), Dra. Faozah, MA (Head of TU), Lilis Wijayanti, M.Si (Sub. General Administration Coordinator), Siti Aisyah, MM (Sub. PAK Coordinator), Yenny Arini Amalia, MM. (BPP).
The purpose of the visit was to strengthen ties, share ideas and experiences regarding academic development, student affairs and administration. The first university visited was FISIP Airlangga University and was welcomed by the leadership there. Many things were discussed about academic programs that were ongoing and would be achieved. Apart from that, there was also a discussion about research collaboration and student exchange which ended with an MoU between both parties.
After visiting FISIP Airlangga University, we continued on the second day with a visit to Brawijaya University. During the visit to Brawijaya University, the team held discussions about the implementation of the MBKM curriculum and student exchange at Brawijaya University. The team also received information about how to establish good communication with alumni. At the end of the event a Mou was made between the two parties.
Furthermore, on the third day the team visited the Muhammadiyah University of Malang where it was welcomed by the leadership there. As fellow Islamic universities, there are similar challenges in academic development and student coaching. Don't forget that the discussion with UMY also discussed the implementation of student development both academically and outside of academics. The final session of the event saw the signing of the MoU.
After visiting the three universities, it is hoped that FISIP UIN Jakarta will be able to become even better in academic development, developing research journals and coaching students and alumni so that they can produce graduates who are superior and have good morals.
