The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at UIN Jakarta successfully organized the 6th International Conference on Social and Political Sciences (ICSPS) 2024, themed "Pursuing Sustainable and Inclusive Development through Global Collaboration," held from Wednesday to Friday, May 15-17, 2024.

This event, aimed at providing a platform for academics, researchers, activists, and students to exchange knowledge and information, featured several national and international speakers. The speakers included Prof. Adam Possamai (WSU, Australia), Dr. Melissa Curley (The University of Queensland, Australia), Prof. Ida Widianingsih (UNPAD, Indonesia), Prof. Iim Halimatusa’diyah (UIN Jakarta), and Dr. Muhammad Najib Azca (UGM). Also in attendance were the Vice Rector for Cooperation and Institutional Development, Dr. Din Wahid, representing the Rector of UIN Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, who was unable to attend, along with the FISIP UIN Jakarta Dean's Office staff, and hundreds of participants from various universities.

Following the presentations from the speakers, the event was divided into several panels based on the available sub-themes: Political Development and Digital Democracy, International Relations and Complex Development Challenges, Religion and Social Movements in Sustainable and Inclusive Development, Economic Marginalization and Exclusion in Development, Cultural and Environmental Issues in Development, Gender and Inclusive Development, Educational Issues in Development, Health Programs and Health Issues in Development, Issues of Science and Technology for Development, Law Enforcement and Development, Social Media, Communication and Sustainable Development, and Mental Health Problems and Development. During these panels, participants presented their research findings according to the sub-theme they had chosen.

The event concluded with a gala dinner held at the South Tangerang City Hall.
