FISIP Online,  Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta is holding a National Seminar which will be held on Wednesday, 09 November 2022 at 09.00 – 12.00 WIB. This event took place in the Prof. Auditorium. Bahtiar Effendy FISIP UIN Jakarta. The theme of this event is " Contemporary Global Threats to National Security ". 

This national seminar invited speakers, namely, Dr. Ir. Asep Adang Supriyadi, ST., MM., IPU., ASEAN Eng. (RI Defense University) and Dr. Timothius Triswan Larosa (Operational Director of the Center for Security and Strategic Studies). The event was moderated by Dr. Rahmi Fitriyanti, M.Si (FISIP UIN Jakarta) with her characteristically enthusiastic demeanor.

The Dean of FISIP gave a speech at this national seminar by giving hope that this event could open students' insight in the context of contemporary global threats to security in Indonesia and become more productive in exploring positive information. He also described the current security threats in Indonesia.

The first session of this seminar began with a presentation from Dr. Ir. Asep Adang Supriyadi, ST., MM., IPU., ASEAN Eng. by saying that a sense of patriotism and nationalism needs to be instilled in the millennial generation so that they can avoid all threats to Indonesia.

Then the event continued with a presentation by Dr. Timothius Triswan Larosa discussed threats that are still a challenge in the security sector for the Republic of Indonesia, including food problems, natural disasters, territorial boundaries, crime, human trafficking, displacement, corruption and poverty.

After the resource person gave his presentation, a question and answer session was opened for the resource person by students. Students were very active in asking questions to resource persons and were enthusiastic from the start of participating in this general studium. The event closed by giving souvenirs to the speakers.
