FISIP Online,  Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah is holding a webinar which will be held on Thursday, March 16 2023 at 14.00-17.00 WIB. This event uses the Zoom application to meet face to face online. The theme of this event is "Entrepreneurship in Supporting Geoeconomics in the Digital Era " .

This workshop event invited resource persons, namely Febri Dirgantara, MM (FISIP UIN Jakarta), Dr. M. Ichwan Hamzah (Entrepreneur), and moderated by Jihan Mahira (FISIP UIN Jakarta student). The event opened with remarks from the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, FISIP UIN Jakarta, Dr. Agus Nilmada Azmy, M.Si welcomed this event for FISIP students.

The first resource person to present the material was Dr. M. Ichwan Hamzah explained that entrepreneurship has an important role in a country's economic development. "Entrepreneurship contributes to the transformation of communities with low incomes to higher incomes and from communities based on the primary sector into communities based on the service and technology sectors," said Ichwan.

Furthermore, the second resource person, Febri Dirgantara MM, explained that economic power can be used as a tool to achieve strategic goals such as The Marshal Plan and the Belt and Road Initiative, both of which increase influence through proposals for economic benefits.

It is hoped that holding this seminar will broaden the insight of FISIP UIN Jakarta students about the influence of entrepreneurship and the impact it has on Indonesia in supporting geoeconomics in the digital era. After all the speakers explained the material, a question and answer session was opened and then the webinar event closed.
