FISIP Holds Webinar on Big Data Perspectives on the Crisis in Ukraine

FISIP Online,  Faculty of Social and Political Sciences UIN Syarif Hidayatullah held a seminar held on Friday, March 4 2022 at 15.00-17.00 WIB. This event uses the Zoom application to meet face to face online. This is because it is to prevent the spread of the corona virus. The theme of this event is "Ukraine Crisis, Big Data Perspective " .

This workshop event invited resource persons, namely Febri Dirgantara, MM (FISIP UIN Jakarta), Haiqal Atiq Zamzami (Big Data Analyst), and was moderated by Muhammad Fikri (FISIP UIN Jakarta Student). The event opened with remarks from the Dean of FISIP UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dr. Ali Munhanif, MA welcomed this event for FISIP students.

The first resource person to present the material was Haiqal who explained about big data in the Russian and Ukrainian conflict information data. "Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) can include media, internet, government public data, research and academic publications, commercial data and literature," said Haiqal.

Next, the second resource person, Febri Dirgantara MM, explained NATO's sanctions and reactions to the Russian and Ukrainian conflict regarding its connection to big data. "NATO imposed sanctions on Russia, especially in terms of economics and media war to win world opinion," said Febri.

It is hoped that holding this seminar will broaden the insight of FISIP UIN Jakarta students about the causes of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and the impact that this conflict between the two countries has on Indonesia. After all the speakers explained the material, a question and answer session was opened and then the seminar closed.
