FISIP Online – In the spirit of fostering synergy and collaboration, the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences at the University of Sumatera Utara (USU) conducted an academic visit to the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at UIN Jakarta, Friday, (12/08/2023)

The delegation from FISIP USU, led by Dean Dr. Hatta Ridho, was warmly received by the Dean of FISIP UIN Jakarta, Prof. Dzuriyatun Toyibah, and her team in the Dean's office at FISIP UIN Jakarta.

"In his address, Dr. Hatta expressed that the purpose of his visit is not only to maintain the bonds of friendship but also to explore collaboration with FISIP UIN Jakarta.

“We see the potential for complementary collaboration if a partnership is built between FISIP UIN Jakarta and FISIP USU,” he said.

In response, Prof. Dzuriyatun Toyibah welcomed the offer from FISIP USU. According to Prof. Dzuriyatun, collaboration is crucial to support the implementation of Higher Education tasks and national development. “Hopefully, this collaboration can be realized soon,” said the Dean.

Additionally, the Dean invited the academic community of FISIP USU to participate in an international conference scheduled for May 2024.

“We also invite the academic community of FISIP USU to participate in an international conference, which, God willing, will be held in May 2024,” she added.

Based on FISIP Online's observations, the 2-hour discussion was lively, and the event concluded with an exchange of token of appreciation and friendly interactions.
