FISIP Online, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences held a meeting with student guardians which was held on Friday, 15 October 2021 at 13.00 – 15.00 WIB. This event uses the Zoom application to meet face to face online. This is because the Covid-19 virus pandemic is still ongoing.

The meeting entitled "Online Gathering of Student Guardians/i 2021 with FISIP UIN Jakarta" is a routine meeting held by FISIP every time the new academic year begins. Before the event opened, a FISIP profile video was played first to introduce FISIP briefly. This event was moderated by the Head of TU Dra. Faojah, MA by introducing the leaders at FISIP to the student guardians.

This meeting was opened with remarks from the Dean of FISIP, Prof. Dr. Ali Munhanif, MA, congratulated the parents of students who had joined the FISIP UIN Jakarta family. The Dean explained to the student guardians several agendas, one of which was the possibility of holding face-to-face lectures. Apart from that, the Dean hopes for a joint commitment so that students can continue their studies smoothly. "Currently FISIP is designing an institution that is expected to help students with financial difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic so they can continue their studies," said Ali.

Then the event continued with the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. A. Bakir Ihsan, M.Si explained the importance of the role of parents in supervising their sons' and daughters' studies so that they can graduate on time, namely 8 semesters. After that, the leaders of each study program and the Head of Division and Head of TU Subdivision explained their respective roles and functions to the student guardians.

Before closing this meeting, a question and answer session was held from the student guardians regarding lectures at FISIP both from an academic and non-academic perspective.
