FISIP Online,  Faculty of Social and Political Sciences held a workshop for lecturers which was held offline and online on August 19 2022 in the Meeting Room, FISIP UIN Jakarta. The theme of this workshop is "Promotion in Academic Position".

This event invited speakers, namely Prof. Dr. Badruzaman Century (UIN Tulungagung). A glance at the profile of the resource person, namely a permanent lecturer at UIN Tulungagung in the Al-Qur'an and Tafsir Science study program. He completed his PhD at UIN Jakarta in 2002-2007. This event was moderated by Dr. Dzuriyatun Toyibah (Deputy Dean for General Administration) and attended by FISIP lecturers.

Starting the event with remarks from the Dean of FISIP UIN Jakarta Prof. Dr. Ali Munhanif MA. Yang said this workshop event was useful for lecturers to update data on promotions to academic positions so they could accelerate their status as professors.

The event continued with the presentation of material by Abad explaining that the Academic/Functional Position of Lecturer (Jafa) is a position of expertise with levels from the lowest to the highest, consisting of Assistant  Expert, Lector, Associate Professor, and Professor . "To get Jafa, lecturers must submit a credit score assessment for the proposed activities according to what is required at each level," said Abad.

The end of the event was opened by a question and answer session between lecturers and resource persons and closed with a group photo.
