A total of 66 prospective graduates and female graduates from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of the State Islamic University (UIN) Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta were ceremonially released by the Chancellor of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Amany Lubis, MA. and Dean of FISIP Prof. Dr. Ali Munhanif, MA, on Wednesday 25 August 2021. This judicial event was held face-to-face online using Zoom due to the Covid-19 pandemic outbreak. The graduates consisted of 31 people from the International Relations Study Program, 19 people from the Political Science Study Program and 31 people from the Sociology Study Program. Prospective graduates and female graduates held the 121st Open Graduation Session in 2021 on Saturday, August 28 2021.

The graduates and female graduates looked enthusiastic and happy when taking part in the event which was also attended by the Chancellor, Dean, Deputy Deans, Head of Study Programs, Study Program Secretary, Head of Division and Head of TU Subdivision because the release of Graduates and Graduates was a series of agendas during their study journey during their studies. after receiving a bachelor's degree.

Along with the Graduation Ceremony and Graduation Ceremony, a number of outstanding graduates were also announced, who achieved the highest Grade Point Average (GPA). Where for the best graduate from the Sociology study program who is also the best graduate at FISIP, Muhammad Ijlal Rafi achieved a GPA of 3.85 with cum laude predicate, the best graduate of the International Relations study program, Sandi Apriliyanto Huda, achieved a GPA of 3.77 with cum laude predicate, and the best graduate of the Science study program Politics in the name of Nurvienna Moeloek achieved a GPA of 3.69 with the predicate Cumlaude.

Muhammad Ijlal Rafi as the best graduate gave a speech at this graduation. He expressed his gratitude to his parents and the entire FISIP UIN Jakarta academic community for their full support in studying until he finally obtained a bachelor's degree.

This kind of release event was first held about 5 years ago. The aim is for graduates to take part in the graduation ceremony organized by the university, as well as take part in the send-off event with the heads of faculties and study programs. I am worried that the graduates will immediately attend the graduation ceremony held by the university, will not have the opportunity to meet in an official forum with campus leaders and the study program will not be held. Therefore, in the future this event will continue to be held as a forum for friendship between the faculty and the graduates.

In this event the Chancellor gave an introductory speech and Prof. Ali Munhanif, MA. As the Dean, he gave a speech by saying that this graduation was very difficult because it was usually held in the Harun Nasution Auditorium, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it was held via virtual face-to-face online. "The keys to success are potential, relationships, hard work and good luck. I believe that if you have this capital, you can face new challenges," said the dean. The final message for graduates is to always maintain the good name of the alma mater and maintain Islam in each of them and it is hoped that they will become someone who is successful and a source of pride for their parents, alma mater, as well as the nation and state.
